Patrick Khodorenko is a veteran forward whose professional career has spanned the AHL, Finland’s Liiga, and Germany’s DEL after a standout college career at Michigan State. He most recently competed in Germany’s top league, the DEL, with Eisbären Berlin in 2025-26 (appearing in four games before a season-ending knee injury) following a strong 2024-25 campaign as a productive center for Lukko in Liiga, where he recorded 15 goals and 19 assists in 60 regular-season games plus additional playoff points. Earlier, Khodorenko spent multiple seasons in the AHL with the Hartford Wolf Pack (New York Rangers affiliate) and Charlotte Checkers after signing an NHL entry-level contract with the Rangers as an undrafted free agent in March 2020; he totaled 20 goals and 44 assists across 158 AHL games. A two-time Big Ten All-Star (Second Team in 2018-19, First Team in 2019-20) who led Michigan State in scoring as a senior, Khodorenko finished his college career with 120 points (54 goals, 66 assists) in 143 games which is among the top Spartan totals since 2000. He previously starred with the U.S. National Team Development Program (U-17 and U-18) after developing through California youth hockey and Honeybaked programs. A skilled, two-way playmaking center known for vision, strength, and competitiveness across North American and European pro ranks, Khodorenko has established himself as a reliable contributor at every level.
